If you could send a letter that traveled back in time, what would you write
to yourself?
To cherish EVERY
SECOND of my son's childhood, because they really do grow up before you
know it.

I think the first
thing I would say would be to start investing money - just a few dollars
every few weeks. I've read that if you start investing when you're young,
about 20, you can easily be a
millionaire by the time you retire. Also, I'd STRONGLY suggest investments
in those new gadgets called 'computers.' (Is that the same thing as insider
trading?) Next, I'd suggest looking into the
Mormon church.. They believe the same things I do. Third, health. Take
care of yours while you're young and whenever you notice yourself putting
on a few pounds, STOP EATING until you're back to your normal weight.

I would tell the
early high school me that being a female athlete is OK, so participate
in sports if you want to and don't worry about what your mom says.

I'd probably warn
myself to stay away from a couple different people.

I'd tell my younger
self to be more assertive, and not to be so afraid of quarrels that I
didn't make my own needs known.

I'd tell myself
not to be in a hurry at sixteen to find a guy. That I have lots of time
and it's better to find the right one when you have some life experience
and are in a position to take care of ourself and a family.

Go find a new job
BEFORE 11/19/2002 because you are going to get laid off that day!!!! Either
that or don't go work in Rock Port for the summer.

I would try to
explain to my highschool self that things weren't as bad as they seemed
and all those people weren't really evil. I would try to explain how to
get through it on a much lighter note.

I think I would
send a letter to myself as a teenager and let me know that everything
turns out OK! There are some bumps in the road, but otherwise life is
pretty good.

I would write a

over at Mike's house.

Don't sweat the
small things in life when you've got your family to love you. Don't have
sex until you get married. Don't be angry with your father forever; he
has issues that he doesn't understand. Your Mother isn't a saint, just
a nurse and a caring person. You can't make everyone like you. Be yourself.
Don't try to do your hair or nails or wear your clothes like someone else.
Everyone else will notice. Don't gawk at a celebrity; he/she's just a
person like you.

I would write myself
to send my husband to a cardiologist for an angioplasty or bypass surgery.
He
died of a heart attack. The autopsy showed that one of his arteries was
totally blocked and two were more than 70% blocked. We had no clue.
