Do
you look forward to going to work (why or not?)It depends on what kind of mood I
am in.

Men may work from sun to sun, but woman's
work is never done.

I love my job. I can be openly Christian,
help other people and know that the work I do is completely in synch with my personal
beliefs.

I enjoy my work. I like what I do - graphic
arts. So the projects are usually fun, I can design them, be creative and the projects are
usually short-term, so they are done before I get bored with them. I also freelance so I
do not have to get too involved with office politics which drives me crazy.

Yes, because when I have to go to
work it will mean I have a job.
Karen, 22

Yes, I enjoy what I do and I like having
structure to my day.

Most of the time. I go in waves. I rarely
hate work, but I do feel tired and unmotivated at times.

Not really. Not anymore. Job insecurity.
Stress. Bad lighting. Etc.

Bear in mind my job is still very
new for me, but emphatically...yes! What nicer way is there than to be greeted walking
through the gates to work each day by the sights and
sounds of the beautiful Beluga whales. From outdoors, I head in to my office through the
dark facility...surrounded by jellyfish flowing through the water, rays wafting about in
their huge habitat, and I always stop to take a peek at the starfish and blue lobsters in
the touch tank. I never know if sometime throughout the day I'll be involved in some
activity on the main aquarium floor, or if I'll just be upstairs in the office reserving
program and class spots for customers. Either way, it's a truly wonderful atmosphere and I
love it!

No i frigging dread it. I hate my job. I
detest and loathe my coworkers. I spend all day raging at their idiocy and despairing over
the dead endedness of my job. Its horrible.

NO! There is a reason it is called WORK!
euch.

I do look forward to work, simply because
I'm not working at all right now.
Nicci, 27

Very few people I know actually look
forward to going to work. I don't dread going to work
like some, but I certainly don't look forward to it. I'd much rather spend my time with my
wife or doing things on my own, but those things don't pay the bills. And, I enjoy what I
do enough that my workday is ever bad.

I cannot tell a lie, I damn sure do not look
forward to work...after all, who looks forward to filing, sorting, and coloring...I can
feel what few brain cells I have left dying...of course, like some guy at work said, there
are 'psychic' benefits to work...like lunch, and Taco Salad, and what not...
Nevertheless, it would be a bold faced lie
to say that I look forward to work. All I do is try to make it is interesting as
possible so I can make it through the day...the job, in and of itself, totally reeks of

oh my
god, no. i get up at 3:30 and drive an hour so that my boss can talk down to me like i'm a
pile of shit. i work five 8 hour days, going to bed around 10:00 and barely making it the
next day. thank god for the weekends.

Nope. Right now I am so overwhelmed that I
don't even want to think about the place let alone go there!

Have you ever heard the expression,
"when hell freezes over?"

It depends on what I'm doing
at work, what day of the week it is, and how long my shift is. I'm a cashier at a local
grocery store/pharmacy/everything store, but sometimes I end up having to work in other
departments, like stocking or cosmetics. This week, I'm pulling 8 hour shifts in
cosmetics, which is fun for about the first four hours, until I run out of random things
to put out on the shelves, which means I have to spend the next four hours straightening
up shelves, pretending to look busy, and hiding from customers because I never know the
answers to their questions.
Hikaru, 19

I'm
between jobs right now, but usually I work in some type of physics environment--in a week
I start in a lab. I enjoy my job immensely. I get to work with cool toys, exercize my mind
and my creative faculties, hang out with cool people, and make connections. my jobs rarely
pay well, but they're worth having.
