What do you like most about where you reside?

The pace of life is much slower than living in the big city. I enjoy looking out my window and seeing wildlife such as geese and ducks in the pond and birds of many colors in the backyard. I love hearing bull and peep frogs late at night. I also get such a kick out of driving past cows and horses in pastures on my way to work. If not for the huge, awkward looking, UGLY casino nearby, I'd be right smack in the midst of olde New England, which, aside from occasionally missing city-type nightlife, I truly enjoy.

The proximity to my friends and to...stores and restaurants. I liek that it's not a big city. And, well, it's free 'cause it's my parents' house.

I like having no neighbors near me like in the city. I have 13 acres and love it.

If you mean the specific house, I like that it was new when I moved in and is just the right size for one person, while still feeling like a house, not an apartment. If you mean the neighborhood, it is a pleasant suburb and is close to where my daughter and her children live. If you mean the community, Portland is a beautiful city and I love being within daytrip reach of both the ocean and the mountains.

I like living in the woods.

The peace and quiet. Being able to look out the window and watch the birds at my feeder or the Great Blue Heron stalking fish in the pond. Sending the dog out to chase a squirrel away from the bird seed. Watching the grass turn green in the spring and the flowers bloom. I was raised in Dallas and I wouldn't trade this for the big city for a million dollars.

Its pretty easy to walk into the downtown city from where i am. Library, various restaurants, mall, movie theatre all within about a half hour or less walk.

I live in the city I grew up in, so I know all the ins and outs. What I love about my apartment, though, is that I know that I'm surrounded by love.

When I was in high school and college, I hated living in Kansas. Now, I really like it. It's mostly peaceful, crime isn't too high and most of the people are nice. I like the changing of the seasons, too.

I absolutely love the city where we live. There are so many different types of people: Americans, Southeast Asians, Africans, Latin Americans, South Americans. The other day while at the laundromat, there were 10 people speaking 5 different languages.

If you are talking about the actually dwelling -- I like my house because it is small, old and has some neat features: tin ceilings and gorgeous molding.

It's really pretty in the spring with all the hills and stuff. (I'm guessing that's what was meant, this is a sort of ambiguous question).

Actually, I can't think of many things I like about this apartment...or this city. We moved here because we needed to save some money and I must admit, we have done that. So I guess I'll have to say the price is what we like the most.

I live in suburban NJ but in the rural part of our town. I have an acre and all around me people own 15 -16 acres , so I only have 2 neighbors and a General Store across the street. It is beautiful where I live. There are big old trees, lots of birds, green grass and a lake. I like to sit out at night and put on the fountain and the party lights and hang out. There's a certain stillness in the air. At twilight, the bats come out and you can watch them flit about.

Ahhhhh, the mountains, the hills, the trees, the animals (when they aren't dead on the side of the road), the green grassy meadows, the smell of the flowers, everything that nature has to offer. The beautiful scenery. If you haven't been here, you should visit sometime. And let ME show you around, mercy, it's breath taking. Oh, by the way, I live in northeast Tennessee.
