On Saturday I was
in Rio, W.Va., at the "Rio Mall" which is a collection of ramshackle
buildings stuffed full of stuff - some new, some not-so-new and some stuff
that definitely has seen better
days. In one store I found a small cobalt blue glass dish that I bought
for $3.12. It will join its brethren in the bay window in my kitchen.
Nothing necessary about it. Except that it pleases me.

have lost 30lbs and my jeans were falling off of me, so I bought two new
pairs of jeans. So I guess they were necessary. BUT I have purchased several
pairs of really cute shoes. I bought Mary Janes with a strap and top stitching
around the shoe. They were so cute I bought them in blue
and in a cinnamon color. And a pair of purple suede shoes.
