What do you like best about work?

Getting paid.

What I like best is probably the idea that I'm helping the environment.

Well, this is not answering the question, exactly, but whatever... a commercial from a few years ago best summarizes my job... it may have been monster.com (i don't know)...it had a bunch of little kids going 'when I grow up I want to file all day long. I want to be a yes man...etc' dude,

Teaching the kids at the moment when they "get it" and the light bulb goes on :)

I like the work I do. I do design for brochures, presentations, magazines. I really enjoy my work and working with people.

There really is nothing that I like about my job that is really worth talking about. In fact, I realized last week that I would rather be in my school than to work. However, if I would have to pick one thing that I like about work, it would have to be the cooperation of the managers and the friendships that build within the store.

Melissa, 20

The money, frankly.

It is brain work. A constant Mental Challenge. It is never boring, and always changing, so you have to adjust very quickly mentally.

Christine, 37

The intellectual challenge.

Jane, 63

The challenge and commitment.

That I get to see the lovely mammels and other sea creatures every single day... and the fact that every single person I work with takes great pride in his or her job!!

Getting paid, of course!!!

Melodi, 19
Gahanna, OH USA

I like being with my friends at school. I like the paycheck from my job after school and that is the ONLY thing that I like about it.

Em, 16
Harrisburg, PA USA

It gives me a sense of purpose.

Laura, 37
Lowell, MA USA

I love my job, doesn't pay well at all. I work in a nursery school with 3 and 4 year olds. I think that I receive so much more from those children, love, happiness, hope for the future, the wonder of the world, the love of God, the accomplishment of success and so much more.
