The last thing I cooked at all was angel hair pasta about a week ago but that was out of the box. I don't think I've cooked anything from scratch in a couple of years.

Almost everything that I cook is from scratch. Tonight we had roast beast, steamed Swiss chard (from the garden), and tomatoes in basil (both also from the garden, olive oil and balsamic vinegar. For lunch we had beef vegetable soup that I made from scratch (and the vegetables were also from the garden.)

Meatloaf (today, actually) Would you like to try this recipe? It's very good.

½ lb. sausage (with or without sage)
½ c. celery
2 eggs
½ c. Italian bread crumbs
1 small green bell pepper
1 small white onion
Ketchup

Directions
Preheat oven to 350° F.
Combine beef, sausage, eggs, and bread crumbs in a large bowl.
Chop celery, green pepper, and onion into small pieces and add to mixture.

Meatloaf. Most of my cooking is from scratch, as I think the results are much better than with prepackaged foods.

Every day I cook from scratch. I make fresh romaine salad and chop up all the vegetables, I make mashed potatoes from scratch, I use a bread machine to make bread, I use a mix to make brownies and some muffins, but even them I make from scratch, Belgium waffles, pancakes.
