If you were in an emergency situation, who would you call on to support
you?
My Dad and Mom,
my brothers, my sister, my wife, my very close friends. Any of them would
help me in an emergency situation. I guess it would depend on the type
of emergency and location, whoever could get there the quickest.
(PS - Yes, I just turned 30 yesterday).
Doug2,

Overland Park, KS USA
My mother
Melodi,

Gahanna, OH USA
Are you assuming
that distance to said person is not a factor? Assuming that to be true,
my emergency contact would be my brother...of course, if distance is a
factor, I guess I could not use him, as he is a few states away from me...
Domitian,
31
Rome
my family, my boyfriend,
or my best friend (or all of the above!) depending on the situation
Cara,
18
Valparasio, IN USA
My husband. Absolutely.
Judy,
62
Easton, KS USA
the person closest
to me physically is my friend Lori. However emotionally it would be my
sister or my friend Shayna.
Felicia,
36
Lowell, MA USA
It would depend
on the emergency, but in most situations it would be my daughter.
Jane,
63
West Linn, OR USA
My husband.
Laura,
37
Lowell, MA USA
Part of the nature
of an emergency is that you must cope, with or without reinforcements.
Once the immediate situation has been stabilized, the nature of the reinforcement
depends on the problem. I wouldn't summon my loving family for a plumbing
crisis or call a plumber for a family muddle.

Stephanie,

TX USA
My Mother. She's
already helped me through a few tough times, and I know I can count on
her one hundred percent.
Tam
I'd call my sister-in-law
Sherre. She's very level headed, always has her cell phone with her, and
is good at getting things done or finding someone who knows what to do.
Cathie,
53
Novi, MI USA
Probably my mom.
Keri-Jade,
23
Brampton, Ontario CANADA
My
husband or my sister Karen -- depending on the emergency.
Laura,
37
Lowell, MA USA
My
best friends Rachael and Jeff and my mom.
Triana,
29
Austin, TX USA
My
sisters.
Janet,

E. Brunswick, NJ USA
In
an emergency I'd call my friends up before family, and it would probably
be either my best friends Madison or Doug. If that didn't work then I'd
call on my brothers. I'd take care of the problem by myself before I'd
let my parents know.

Depends
on what kind of support. "Pick me up at the hospital" or "take
care of the car" could easily be handled by my girlfriend. For the
"I need bail money" type of support I'd probably call one of
my old poet friends.
Alias
Irrelevante
My
husband, of course. But if he wasn't available I'd call on my good friend
Sandy or her husband Richard.
Reba,

Gaithersburg, MD USA
BF,
cops, mom - in that order.
Firelady,
24
Frisco, TX USA
Depends
on the nature of the emergency, but my first call would be to my husband
- especially if it was an immediate need. If it was a medical diagnosis,
I would call my mom. If it was a financial matter, I would call my dad.

That
is totally dependent upon the situation. An emergency might mean a loved
one was hurt, in which case I couldn't call upon the loved one. And, for
that matter, in some emergency situations (like if I ended up in a bad
car accident) I wouldn't be able to call upon anyone. So I don't know.
Karen,
23
Ames, IA USA
It
would depend on the situation, but either my husband, Mom or sister.
Tracy,
24
Ocean City, NJ USA
My
fiance.
Fisch,
47
Preston, CT USA
I
am blessed with a support group that can't be beat. It is my family who
would help doing anything. I don't know anyone else who has a family like
that and I wouldn't trade them for the world.
