Would you accept $10,000 to shave your head and never wear a hat or wig or
explain to anyone the reason for your haircut?

yeah. Hair grows back and i surely need the money

Talia, 25
Tallahassee, FL USA

I doubt it - I love my hair.

Aly, 17
Cardiff UK

no

Melodi, 19
Gahanna, OH USA

You betcha. I've shaved my head for no reason at all before so I most certainly would do it for 10 grand!

Doug2, 30
Kansas City, KS USA

Yes yes yes yes yes please

David, 59
ENGLAND

No. $10,000 wouldn't be enough for an indefinite period of time. Maybe it would be enough for one
week.

Cathie, 53
Novi, MI USA

do you have to keep your head shaved or can you grow it back afterwards? i guess it depends on how badly i need the money....afterall its just hair

Cara, 19
Valparasio, IN USA

I find that I vacillate from one answer to the other. I think I'd choose friends in the end.

Judy, 62
Easton, KS USA

It would depend on how badly I needed the money.

Jane, 63
West Linn, OR USA

Yes, and i would go along with the no wig, no hat thing, but it might be hard to avoid explaining why i did it.

Ashley, 20
Jacksonville, FL USA

Absolutely. Although, if it were Winter, I'd hope I'd be allowed to wear a hat while in the cold.

Felicia, 37
Lowell, MA USA

Sure. It would reinforce my image as being a fun, impulsive person. I could pretend I was Sinead O'Connor. (And I wouldn't have to pay for haircuts for awhile.)

Reba, 57
Gaithersburg, MD USA

No. I'm not for sale.

Jill, 61
Saylorsburg, PA USA

Reba sure thinks of some hard questions. Could I stay inside for six months? I probably wouldn't do it unless I was desperate for money. But maybe I would; hair grows back. But . . .I don't know.
Make me a real offer.

Judy, 62
Easton, KS USA

Absolutely.

Keri-Jade, 23
Brampton, Ontario CANADA

Sure

Janet, 45
E. Brunswick, NJ USA

No, because at my age everyone would assume I had cancer. And it's not enough money for doing that.

Laney, 60
TX USA

Shoot yeah! As long as it could grow back. I wouldn't want to be bald all the time, but I have always been curious what that would look and feel like. I just shaved my husband's head last night. I think it looks pretty cool. He loves it. (Now, I don't know what he would think about me being bald - but, I can guarantee he would support it for $10,000!)

Cindy, 41
VA USA

In a heart beat.

Ryan, 29
Riedlingen GERMANY

Actually I just might try that...I'm going to Africa this summer and that would work out perfectly!!

Tracy, 24
Ocean City, NJ USA

Nope. If you mean permanentely, no. If you mean once... maybe, for more money than that.

Fisch, 47
Preston, CT USA

no problem. i think i'm going bald anyway. ten grand would be nice.

A-Dog, 20
Eugene, OR USA

It depends on the situation. If I was really hard up for money then yeah. I think anyone would do alot of stupid things if they needed the money bad enough. But probably not. But it would make doing my hair in the morning easier.

Stephanie, 27
TX USA

Probably, but I'm assuming here that I could tell my husband. I think that he would probably notice that I had shaved my head and ask about it. I wouldn't want to lie. He'd probably also notice the size of our bank account and get suspicious. My other question is, would my head have to be shaved for all time, or could I grow my hair back? I'm not sure I'd do it if I couldn't grow my hair back. But I suppose it's worth putting up with having bangs again for $10,000.

Karen, 23
Ames, IA USA

Reba...this question gave me a good, hearty laugh! I can just imagine myself strolling through life with a shiny bald head! I actually think I might be crazy enough to do this! After all, I cut my hair super short before surgery...what's a couple more inches?
