On average, how much is your long-distance phone bill?
Somewhere arround
$30 I think.
Keri-Jade,

Brampton, Ontario CANADA
Usually $0. Almost
all of my family is just beyond the local area, in the toll zone.

I have a cell phone
and all of my local and long distance are included in my monthly bill
of $38.67

We do all our long
distance calling on our cell phones, so we have a certain number of minutes
per month and so far we haven't gone over our newest package.

My husband and
I each have a cell phone with a long distance plan. The cost is just over
$200 per month, which is what our phone bill was back in the days of a
"land line" phone. But now we each have a phone with more features
(voicemail, call forwarding, call waiting, etc) and people can actually
reach us.

I'd say it was
$40-$60 a month, but now I have a combo plan where my local and long distance
are all on one bill for $55 a month. Way better than before!!
Tracy,
24
Ocean City, NJ USA
Probably about
$30-$40. I try and use my cell phones free weekend minutes for my long
distance calls.
Janet,

E. Brunswick, NJ USA
If I make two long
distance calls a month it's a lot... and I don't keep track of the charges
but I do try to keep the call-time at a minimum. Most of my long-distance
communication now is done online ~ a great savings.
Fisch,

Preston, CT USA
About 30 dollars.
Tam
On the average,
my long-distance bill is somewhere between 0 and 60 cents.
Reba,

$10 - $15 a month

My telephone service
comes from a small, independent telephone company with fewer than 50,000
customers. Since my family--and my husband's family--all live outside
of our calling area, our long distance bills fluctuate wildly according
to where the current family crisis is being hosted.
Long distance charges have been as low as $6 and as high as $112 within
the last year.

Pretty light, everybody's
local. Can't really pull up a number right now.

I don't know; my
husband pays it. I can't imagine it's too much. . .our long-distance calls
are rarely
longer than five minutes.
Karen,

Lately it's been
around $40 but that's my cell phone bill ;)
Ashley,

My
long distance is zero. My phone service gives me 100 free minutes each
month, I have a cell phone that I can use and a prepaid calling card.
Laney,

We
get free long distance on our cell phones, so we use that if we have to
do it. But thats still only 1 time a month.
