Do you prefer being around men or women?

One's life should have an equal balance. At this point, I'm lacking in the male friend department.

Felicia, 36

I think I would have to say men. I grew up with mostly guy friends and am a natural flirt so I get along with them really well. But I have to say that I don't know what I would do without my girlfriends!

Who the hell cares???

Depends on who they are.

In groups? Probably women. . .but I like being around my husband best.

It doesn't make a difference to me. I prefer being around pleasant and/or funny people.

Janet, 44

I prefer being around intelligent, articulate people whether they are men or women.

Laura, 37

I don't have a preference either way. I enjoy the company of women and I enjoy hanging out with men. As long as our personalities are such that we can get along, I don't really care who I spend my time with. Although, now I prefer to spend my time with 3 women... my wife and two daughters.

I think men because they are less judgemental.

i've had about enough of women for a while. time to kick it with dudes for a long LONG time.

women

Tam

i prefer to be around women, i get on with them better. generally (and i stress generally) they're more beautiful, more understanding, more thoughtful and more sharing than men. my guy friends tend to be those with the ability to think about others, and talk about feelings with me. otherwise i find it tough to trust someone who won't think like that. that's a weakness of mine, yes, but it's the way i am.

As a GENERAL rule, I prefer being around men. It has always seemed to me that men are not as petty as women. There are many exceptions to this rule of mine.

Men, all my friends are men. women are too competative and jealous

Andrea, 25

Men, definitely. Girls are too catty and mature. MOst of my friends are male.

When I was a kid and through high school, I prefered to be around guys. I just related with them more. But now that I am technically an adult, I enjoy being around women more.

Stephanie, 25

I generally like men better than women. They're more up front and not as bitchy. But you have to have a woman for girl talk.

That depends entirely on the individuals and the situation.

Firelady, 24

I prefer being around intelligent people whose conversation is stimulating.

Jane, 62

Usually men. I can't stand flaky women. Not that all women are, I have a great deal of women friends, but it is a high risk. Women are obsessed with marriage and children and I really really don't want children. People look at me strangely when I say that, but I've always felt that way.

Both, although I like hanging out with my guy friends a little better than I do with the girls I know.

I generally prefer to be around women, because I feel more comfortable with them. As a geek, though, I find I have a lot of friends who are men.

Men as friends, women as girlfriends

Melodi, 19

Generally, I find that I have more male friends than female. My personality is such that I don't have a lot in common with many girls; I'm not into make up or squaking about boys or any of that. I can relate more to males because I usually share more interests and such with them than I do my female friends.

Hikaru, 19

I'd prefer the company of my peers, that being men.

It doesn't really matter.

Keri-Jade, 21

It doesn't matter to me as long as they are intelligent...non sexual and perhaps even hemaphrodite too.
