On
a scale of 1-10, 10 being the highest, how tolerant are you of other people's
inadequacies?Depends what the inadequacy is. I'm not sure how to answer this one. Im
uterly intolerant of things like bigotry and racism, but what are those inadequacies of?
Tolerance? I'm intolerant of people inadequate in tolerance?? :P

I would say about 8.1-9.0...although I am
not tolerant of ignorance or stupidity...or cruelty...especially towards animals
Dr. Bob
I'd like to say about an 8 1/2. When
it's people I'm close to I think I'm more likely to criticize than when it's someone I
don't really know very well.
Angela, 18
Bella Vista, AR USA
If I have to rely on them, 1. If I'm helping
them, 10. If they're passing me on the street with no bearing on my life, 5....when I'm
feeling generous. I sadly expect everyone to have common sense and an ounce of brains.
It's been proven many times that these expectations are way too high and it usually leaves
me more than irritated

If people are ten miles away, I'm saintly in
my tolerance. If people share my life and my house, I'm a critical whizz-bitch.
Jill, 61
Saylorsburg, PA USA
I am definately a ten. I tollerate a whole
bunch of shit. Because people are stupid jerks. I am aware of that so everything is ok.
Christopher, 28

Most of the time, I am pretty tolerant,
perhaps a 7 or 8. But when those inadequacies impinge on my well-being, it drops abruptly
to a 3.

Eight and a half.
Sarah Jane, 15

Probably a 7 or an 8.
Jeremy, 14

If I am not PMS, I'd say about an 8. PMS
probably a 4
Janet, 44

If you were my friend and heard me venting
about it you would think I was a 1, but if it's someone I must deal with, friendship,
family or colleague, I can be a 10 and really mean it :0)
Tracy, 24
Ocean City, NJ USA
Considering that I have inadequacies of my
own, I try to be more tolerable than I would normally be. I used to have no patience
whatsoever for stupidity, but now I try to be more understanding to whats going on. So, I
would say I'm trying to be a 7.
Nicci, 27

9.5 or so.
Alias Irrelevante
Depends on the inadequacy.
Karen, 22

I'd say I'm an 8. I'm usually very tolerant
of what could be perceived by some as "inadequacies". However, I think
they are just differences from myself. There are a very few things that irk the hell out
of me though.
Doug2, 29
Overland Park, KS USA
Not very. I try to be more tolerant...I'd
say on a scale of 1 - 10, I'm probably about a 3 or 4.
Tam
Eight and a half.

I suppose 8. However, there are always those
persons and situations that would drop the number to 2 in a heartbeat.

You know what they say. . . if you already
hate them, they can say hello and annoy you. If you already love them, they can shoot you
and you'll overlook it.
Eric, 20
Beverly Hills, CA USA
I used to be more tolerant. Now I'm at about
a 6.
Fisch, 47
Preston, CT
USA
5, Sometimes I can handle others
inadequacies, I guess it just depends on what mood I am.
Andrea, 25
Federal Way, WA USA
Pretty tolerant. Physical and mental
inadequacies aren't a problem. Major character flaws
are something else.
Judy, 62
Easton, KS
USA
I hate to admit it but I'm not very
tolerant. I try hard to be, though, and since my inadequacies seem to be on the increase,
it's getting easier.
Reba, 50+
Silver Spring, MD USA
It depends on the inadequacy.
Laura, 37
Lowell, MA
USA
Other people's inadiquacies and their
failure to compensate for them make me impatient. I suppose impatience is my biggest
fault. I hate having even a few seconds of my time involuntarily wasted.
Cancer, 20
NYC, NY
USA
It depends what the inadequacy is. If you
have troubles communicating in the spoken or written language, due not to mental illness
or genetics, then my tolerance level wanes. If someone just has trouble "catching
on," I'm willing to explain or repeat myself or sit down and work things out. It highly depends on the situation, so I'll say .... 7?
Hikaru, 19
PA USA
I'd say about a 7.5, but even lower with my
own.
Ryan, 29
Morton, IL
USA
Most days I'm abouyt a 7.
