What did you do for New Year's Eve?

We had a nice party at our house. Many people were here, we talked, drank a bit and just had a good time in general.

I spent the holiday celebrating the New Year with a pair of friends of mine, old classmates from high school - didn't sleep until 1:30 in the morning this morning, but it was well worth it, believe me.

Went to a friend's house and was really bored. I sat arround with my best friend while the guys all watched hockey. Then I was yelled at for not socializing enough. Tosted the new year, played cards. Went home.

I brought in the new year with friends and family at a bowling alley. Everything was so much fun until a drunken fight broke out in the lane next to us, and I got a black eye out of it before I could get out of the way. Last year was so much fun, its gonna be hard for this one to top it.

Spend first part of day at home. Went to my friend Lori's house for afternoon playtime with her kids and a dinner of lemon chicken with her, her husband (Mostafa), her mother, and three daughters. Made it home by 9:30pm and rang in the New Year in my living room with my dog Milo. A very satisfying day overall.

Worked. One of the good kids decided to run on Monday and then turned himself in late yesterday. He's doing okay and my new calendar went up without any issues.

My sisters, brother, relatives, some friends and my kids' friends came over. We spent the evening talking, eating, drinking, listening to music, playing pool and PacMan and played a game of Scrabble. We had champagne, noise makers and silly hats to watch the ball drop in Time's Square. We were pretty low key, because the night before, and I had sisters and sister-in-law over for Scrabble we did our real partying then. Q. What's the cure for a hangover on New Year's Day?
A. Have a hangover on New Year's Eve instead.
