Do you have celebration plans for New Year's Day / Eve?

I'll be home with a good book and my husband.

Yeah, I'm going over to Phill and Dave's and we're having just us five friends over. We're ordering in Chinese and probably watching movies.

Every New Years eve I cook spaghetti and meatballs and sausage. Some of our family and friends come over. It is a tradition my dad started and I will do as long as I can.

Oh yes....just staying in the comfort and warmth of my living room with those I love the most...munching on goodies and watching all the knuckleheads at Times Square. I say "knuckleheads" with the utmost affection here. I went one year and it was insane. Those are some die-hard party people for sure!

I'm going to celebrate New Year's Eve by putting my husband to bed at 7pm then following him at 10. But New Year's Day will be REALLY exciting. I will get to watch reruns of "Law and Order" all day. Yippee...

No plan this year. Just spending precious time with loved ones.

My parents were married on New Years Eve so our family has traditionally gotten together then. Even though my parents died 8 years ago, the tradition lives on. My sister Janet usually hosts the party. I understand that this year my brother Keith is going to bring dance music and we're going to clear one of the rooms so we can dance. In years past we've played games, looked at pictures and/or my cousin's slides from days past, eaten entirely too much food, and we almost always have silly hats and noise makers. I look forward to this day every year.

Then we are gonna go out and dance our butts off and crash at a hotel downtown. Can't wait! This is the first time in four years that I have actually done something on New Year's Eve and I am soooo excited. Okay I am done gushing now...

We have my 2 sisters and their family, my brother and his family, friends and neighbors and my teenagers have a couple of friends over. It's low key, great of food, some booze and plenty of conversation. We'll watch Dick Clark drop the ball on Times Square and then let off some firecrackers and a few roman candles, The gals will be singing and dancing with the sparklers. By 1:30 us oldies but goodies will be heading out the door for a good nights rest.

Yeah. I'm going over to my friend Ashleigh's house and will no doubt cough awkwardly as a good friend of mine and her somewhat-tolerable boyfriend kiss in the new year--for a minute or so.

Nothing yet. I don't usually do much on New Year's, too many amateur drunk drivers.

Not yet. People seem subdued around here. That or we suddenly became  unpopular.

I have long had a tradition where I spend New Year's Eve in quiet contemplation and determine what I want to leave behind from the year past and what I want to take with me in the year to come. It beats most drunken celebrations of forced fun.

I am going to PART-TAY. My boyfriend and I are going to a party on the river where we will intake massive amounts of alcohol and shoot over more then 200 dollars worth of fireworks.

No plans, I spent New Year's Eve watching the "Law & Order" marathon on A&E. Didn't notice when the New Year came.

I'm answering this question a few days late, and I don't remember if I had my plans by this day, but I certainly did do stuff on New Year's Day. I went to a sick party in Hollywood. Seven clubs, all of a queer/alternative/fetish/Wiccan/drag kind of genre came together to have a big party at the Hollywood Athletic Center. Seven rooms of seven types of music. It was soooo much fun.
