I use sherry in my Chinese cooking. I don't drink wine.
Something sweet and red, and not too cheap.
I love cherry wine.
I prefer dry wines--red, white or rose.
I prefer good, dry wines, such as an Oregon pinot gris or pinot noir. I also enjoy some of the Australian varietals.
I'm not much into wine. Reds with a low level of sweetness I guess.
