I've been posting anonymously since I joined. I regret that now.

My name is Stacy. I am 31. I live near Ann Arbor, Michigan. I am married with two young children. I used to work as an engineer and will again someday. Currently, I stay at home with my children.

Thank you, Felicia, for the 2000 days project.

On New Year's Day in 2000, I was a college student. I was miserable that the guy I was in love with hadn't come to my New Year's party and that he had a girlfriend. I lived in an apartment with two women.
Now I'm a college graduate. I'm still in love with the same guy, but he broke up with the girlfriend and married me. We have a house, a kid, a cat, and two frogs.
Over the course of the past 2000 days, I took classes in New Mexico, Iowa's Lakeside Labs, and Ireland. I've also been to Colorado, Illinois, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Kansas, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and airports in other states. I've tried new things. I've learned new things. I've had surgery twice. I've made new friends, lost old friends, and regained friends. I've acquired job experience and life experience. My grandfather, my cat, and one of my frogs died. My brother got married. My father was treated for prostate cancer. I saw famous people. I wrote gazillions of papers. I read new books.
Fairly late in the game, I stopped answering the 2000days questions because I was frustrated with the blog format and because I was too wrapped up in other things to find the time for it. But here's a summary of what has happened to be in the past 2000 days. I've gone from miserable and uncertain to happy and overwhelmed. My status has changed completely. I've been through the worst physical and emotional pain of my life and reached the other side with a little more character.

Thank you for running the 2000 Days project. I was often amused, sometimes puzzled, and occasionally inspired by the questions and the answers. I learned things about myself that I might not have learned otherwise.

I joined later in the game but have been amused and challenged by some of the answers and questions. Some I couldn't answer but some have lead to discoveries about oneself and others. I found it thought provoking by the various answers and by the various demographics.
I am computor illeterate and have found a way to use a blog!! and the computor much easier. THe things that 2000 days have taught me!!

Thanks Felicia for the time and effort put into this project, I will miss it.

It has been fun participating in this project. Thanks to Felicia for setting it up and running it, sometimes while under great stress, and to Jill, who got me involved.
