Unfortunately, no. I could have used an excuse to celebrate.
No celebrations for me. Cinco de May is not part of my tradition.
I noticed the satisfactory symmetry of 5/5/05 and moved on to the routine of the day.
Had my usual VJ gig but it's really starting to pick up. Last night at one
point we had about 15 or 20 people dancing in the projection area in the lab coats we've been handing out.
Nope...work as usual.
No, the only time I ever celebrated Cinco de Mayo was when I lived in South Florida and joined some colleagures for an after-work drink. As I was driving home, though, I noticed that Waterside Park was filled with food booths and carnival rides to mark the occasion,
