I would not sing in a karaoke bar.
If I did, it would probably be:

I would NOT sing in a karaoke bar. Period.
I can't carry a tune in a peach basket. Canned orchestral backup, or no, I wouldn't sing in a karaoke bar.
I sang karaoke. I loved it.
If I were to ever sing again, I would sing Volcano by Jimmy Buffet.
"Black or White" by Michael Jackson
There is no way I would embarass myself by an out-of-tune performance in a karaoke bar.
"Eruption" by Van Halen (or any other instramental piece).
Oh my goodness... the list is endless, especially if I could rope my sisters into singing with me. Any variety of Frank Sinatra song: New York, New York is a good one. I could probably get my sister Janet to sing a Talking Heads song with me: Don't Worry About the Government is a favorite of ours, but so is Psycho Killer.
First there would have to be some liquor involved and then the singing would start. Laura, If I recall there doesn't have to be a karaoke machine involved at all. We just start singing...
I've sang a few times... Love Shack by the B-52's is an easy one (if you have a good partner), Voodoo by Godsmack, People are Strange by the Doors, Kryptonite by Three Doors Down. Any of those are fun (note I never said I was GOOD on any of those!)
