I've had a few but oddly enough most of them involve times when I really wasn't saying much. People just seem hell bent on interpreting things in a way that upsets them. Recently during my experimental video program I had footage of a seal playing on a beach and someone complained about it calling it offensive and disgusting. It may have been a crank call, it may have been someone having a bad day, it may have been someone who was attacked by an angry mob of playful seals as a child. Some people just ain't right.
I'm not sure what a free speech story would be, but I don't think I have one. Unless, perhaps, you count the time that my then 12-year-old son confronted our pastor after a particularly long-winded sermon, asking very politely, "Dr. K__, how do you manage to say so little in so many words?"

I have no "Free Speech Story"--just a wistful memory of a time when four letter words were used only on very informal occasions.
Free speech means much more than a license to blaspheme or spout sewage.
None that I can think of offhand...but I'm sure there IS a story somewhere in this cob-webby old attic that is my mind!
