That we own it.
The best feature is the deck. One of my friends at work saw it, and said "That deck says party!" It has two levels, benches that seat about six, room for two or three card tables and their chairs and my big grill, and it is partially shaded in the summer so it isn't too hot.
Alhough the rooms are not particularly large, they are well-shaped and have interesting features like window seats and bays.
The bedroom is in the basement. This saves on heating and allows us to block
out light for when I'm working till 2am and don't need the sun in the
morning.
32 acres of land and two nice old barns. The house, however, leaves something to be desired. It's an old farmhouse which desperately needs some fixin' uppin!
Living in the woods.
It's location, it's size and the modest mortgage payment.
I like that it has a yard. Its a small efficiency apt so a yard is neat.
