I've never been part of an Intervention, but I have read about them.
Increasing senility in a family member may require an Intervention in the near future.

No. At one point we thought an intervention might be needed, but the person involved sought treatment on his own.

I've only seen them take place on television.
No. I guess that's another sort of emergency I should be prepared for.
