Any history of mental illness in your family?

Yes, my uncle is a schizophrenic. He has been in and out of institutions and group homes for most of my life. My family doesn't talk about him much. I don't really know him.

My sister-in-law is bipolar. She's fine when she's on her medication. When she's not, look out.

Hmm, maybe my spouse and I shouldn't reproduce.

Schizophrenia has been diagnosed in two first cousins--one on each side of the family.

We're all a wee bit neurotic on a full time basis and periodically given to wallowing in Celtic melancholy.

Not officially.

A couple of people have had mild bouts of depression. Mostly pretty sane, though a few eccentrics.

Thats funny, I have a schizophrenic uncle also. He lives on his own though.

Unofficially, the whole clan is odd.
