My favorite piece of furniture is my rocking chair. I bought it with a gift certificate from some former coworkers when I was expecting my first child. I love to rock in my chair with my children and as I work on my crochet projects. My husband considers himself too big to sit in my chair (he fears he'd break it), so it's all mine.
It's my red La-Z-Boy rocker. I used to rock the babies to sleep in it. One of my favorite photos is a shot of my husband sitting in the rocker with our first daughter on his shoulder. Both of them are sound asleep. When I broke my leg and couldn't turn over or sleep on my side, I often slept in the rocker when I couldn't get comfortable in the bed.

Favorite piece of furniture? I own some family antiques that I'm fond of but when push comes to shove, I'd choose my well stocked bookcases.
Yeah, I agree with Jill on this one. My bookcases...well, the contents of, really!

I agree with Jill. Despite some beloved family antiques, the bookcases take pride of place.
A wing back chair that my husband inherited from his grandmother and the leopard print footstool that my sister gave to me.
