My concept of death is it is one stage on the way to the next stage...where you wind up, well, that depends on what kind of person you are. I hope to wind up wherever all of my beloved animals are. I am looking forward to seeing Sarge, Shorty, Axl, Lars, Fletcher, Hercules, Butch, Mr. D, Zeus, Sybil, Iris, and all the rest of the animals. Of course, I would like to get a weekend pace to visit h***, so I can hang out with those cool pagans like Alexander the Great, Hannibal, Ceaser, Auguster, and all those cool ancient dudes. My favorite ancient dude, is Socrates...
I believe that my body will stop functioning but my soul will live on. There will be a judgment and if I've lived a good life, I'll spend eternity in Heaven.

A question about the nature of death can only be answered by speculation. I chose to wonder, but not to speculate.
From Steve:
I'm pretty sure death is the end, but who's to say?
I believe (hope) that death is one milestone on the continuum of life.
I'd like to think that it represented moving on to a new kind of life, but there is no way of knowing.
I'd like to think that death is the passing on into a differnt "realm"...

When you die, you end.
