What does your fantasy house look like?

Hmmm...let me think...
Probably, like a log cabin. It would probably be somewhere in Alaska...it would have dogs, cats, and there would be plenty of grizzlies and black bears to keep my company...

I would have a bookshelf, with plenty of books, a car....ideally, oh, nevermind....

One that stays clean by itself.

My fantasy house has a southeastern exposure with lots of large windows that overlooks a large body of water.

As this is my Fantasy, it combines the impossible. It's in a secluded, wooded location on a lake within fifteen minutes of the amenities of a major city. It is comfortable for one or a large group, spacious but easy to maintain, with traditional charm and all modern conveniences.

It's a brick ranch-style house with an attached garage and a fenced yard. Along the fence are lots of flowers. There is a shaded deck and a screened porch. A swimming pool is conspicuous by its absence! The house has a country kitchen with lots of counter space.

Kinda like the one in my Sims video game. It's yellow, surrounded by a white picket fence. Inside, there is a bedroom and a bathroom for every person. There are comfy chairs and lots of books. A maid shows up to clean it daily. Outside, there is a beautiful garden that always has colorful blossums. Every few days, a gardener shows up to water and weed it.

The stuff of dreams vanishes upon waking. These days I'm more interested in harmony and serenity than bricks and mortar.
