Martin Luther King Jr. had the commitment and courage to live his principles.
MLK's life is inspiring. But I'm also interested in the people who continued his message like Marion Berry and Jesse Jackson.
Many of his supporters are determined to turn a man into a legend. Myth making is fascinating.
I admire his passion for his ideals. As he spoke of in his historic speech entitled "I have a dream", he envisioned a world of equality and brotherhood. He worked tirelessly for this, and was murdered for it. He believed in his vision and lived and died for it. That kind of dedication is awe inspiring.
