I can't speak for the whole world, but my English family think the last two elections have been ridiculous performances, more appropriate to a third world country.
I live in England, and therefore have very little idea about American politics. But what puzzles me is how Bush got elected. Any Americans I've spoken to (admitedly not very many) seem totally against him. As far as I can see, he basically believes in governing the U.S. with a kind of fundamentalist fascism. I don't understand where all the Americans are that voted for him. Can't they see what an extremist he is? Not that Kerry seems much better, perhaps more the lesser of two evils. But then, as I said, I don't really know a lot about it. And it's not as if England's much better! Personally, all I have to say against Bush is that he seems friendly with Tony Blair, who I have absolutely no time for. In fact I really dislike him. Therefore Bush must be a very poor judge of character, or worse...

Haven't really talked to anyone out of the country about it. I hesitate to speak for other countries.
That we are idiots.
Monumental disbelief.

One of the British headlines the day after the election read something like "How Can So Many People Be So Stupid?"
