Officially, I had 15 vacation days this year. Unfortunately I could only spend two out of town relazing. The rest were spent on a colonoscopy, house cleaning, waiting for repairmen, catching up on homework for school, and physical labor at Habitat for Humanity. CathieA, 55, Novi, MI
I have 40 vacation days and I do take them. However, I'd say that only half of them were truly vacation days. The rest were used so I could write papers for school or do things like paint the garage.

I'm a housewife with a retired husband.
Men may work from sun to sun
But women's work is never done.

Duh... I said that I had 40 vacation days. I have 20 vacation days.
From Tam:
I don't know offhand...approximately 3 weeks, I would say.
I had 20 vacation days only 1/2 of which felt like vacations, the others more like obligations.
