Where ever they may fall when I take them off. Usually on the floor. They don't stick to the ceiling too often.
On the floor mostly, some in a hanging shoe thing in the closet
In my shoe cupboard. I LOVE shoes!!
In my closet, except for my slippers and shoes that I wear every day. Those are near my bed when not on my feet.
By the door, if they're ones I'm likely to wear. Otherwise in a closet.
My workhorse shoes are on my feet or by my bed. More glamorous shoes live in shoeboxes on the closet shelf.
I keep my shoes in my closet on the floor.

The few pair I wear most often tend to live under the little desk in my entry area, but most are lined up neatly on my closet floor.
