There was a time a few years ago when the same clown kept turning up at all the birthday parties my grand kids attended.
Beats the heck outta me.

Yes, when I worked at Metro Beach Metro Park in Mt. Clemans, MI, I met Rosco the Clown. He was hired by the park to perform in the Tot Lot play area, where I was assigned to work that summer. He was a nice man who understood children quite well. He'd been performing as a clown for many years. Occasionally, I'll hear he's going to perform someplace.
