What is the best live performance you have ever been to?

The Blue Men Group

I don't know. I've been to many great shows. Hairspray was the best play on Broadway I have seen. As far as rock concerts, THe Who with Keith Moon was pretty wild. David Bowie, Elton John, U2,the Stones all have great shows.

Shortly after the war in the Persian Gulf ended, we went to see a concert by country star Randy Travis. It was awesome!

Last June in the middle of the dreary, dreary rain I visited a farm and heard a rooster try to call the sun back all afternoon.

U2 on their Elevation tour. I was in the front row, and it was amazing to see how they interact and react to each other. You could tell these guys love what they do, and they are good at it.

Probably Santana back in 1985 or 1986. Everyone was up dancing.

The Broadway version of Porgy and Bess. It was far better than the one done by the Metropolitan.

It's too hard to say which was best... among my three favorites are Johnny and Edgar Winter at Madison Square Garden ~ Earth, Wind and Fire at Asbury Park Convention Center, and Diana Krall at the Garde Theatre in New London, CT.

The first time I saw The Stoves in August of last year.

Either Marilyn Manson or Anthrax - the former for the spectacular stage presence and the latter for the enormous energy of their performance.

Last year the Sun Messengers played in the "Top of the Park" series in Ann Arbor. They had people clapping and swaying in their seats and dancing in the aisles. The horns and the vocalists were in top form.
