Did you encounter any special events remember 9/11/01?
I quietly
reflected on the events during the national moments of silence, I watched
some, but not all, of the reading of the names at ground zero, and my
coworkers were kind enough throughout the work day to listen to me reminisce
about great times spent with my friend who perished in the WTC. I kept
a special photo of her with me all day at work and at home.
Fisch,

No. I avoided
them. It took a very long time to get over the anxiety 9/11 created in
me. There is no reason for me to re-create that anxiety.
Laura,

Lowell, MA USA
not any that
I can think of
Melodi,
19
Gahanna, OH USA
I know things
were out there, but I was asleep at the exact times and then I was at
work all day.
Cristin,
25
Frisco, TX USA
I didn't encounter
any special events, but my local library was closed for the morning so
staff could attend the city's memorial service.
Jane,
63
West Linn, OR USA
I can't drive
after dark, but I quietly lit a candle here in the woods, not only for
the dead of 9/11 but for all the Americans, British, Afghanis and Iraqis
who have died in the last two years.
Jill,
61
Saylorsburg, PA USA
No, absolutely
none. What a shame.
Tam
I live less
than a hour and a half from Washington, D.C., so there were many events.
I did not attend any, however. I did put a flag on my car for the day.
Cindy,
41
VA USA
No, just the
ones on the evening TV news.
Cathie,
53
Novi, MI USA
Other than
radio special, none really.
Felicia,
37
Lowell, MA USA
Just half-mast
flags.
