What are your thoughts on high tech, knowledge jobs being sent overseas?
I say go where
you're needed. Everyone needs to make a living.

Sending any
jobs overseas seems like a counterproductive move to me. I know that labor
is cheaper, but when you don't invest in your own country aren't you setting
a poor example and potentially setting yourself up for problems?

Same way I
felt about assembly line jobs being sent away: It's bad business in the
long run.

Just goes
to show that even with high level skills and lots of education, capitalism
will still skrew over the worker when a better buck can be made.

I think sending
any job overseas is only going to come around and hurt us in the end.

Our capitalist
nation will learn a hard lesson from this.

I understand
that most of the jobs being sent overseas are rather mundane and tedious.
Some, of course, are not. I sympathize with the American workers who have
been left stranded, but I don't think the trend will stop.

I'm not wild
about it. I think the corporate executives in the United States have no
conscience.

Not a good
thing. They are taking jobs away from US people and paying people over
seas. I know many programmers that are out of work.

As a software
developer, I resent it.

I guess I
don't have any, because I only have a very vague, foggy idea of what you
mean. Sorry.

Can see it.
Americans charge too much for their brains. But companies don't want to
pay it. People overseas don't charge much for it so companies will buy
them.

I just really
don't know! Sorry!

I
think a lot of people are loosing their jobs here bcause the jobs are
going over seas.
