If you could buy something you once decided not to buy, what would it be?

a grateful dead ticket for a concert in upstate new york back around 1994. . . .i decided not to go at the time because i believed the girl/woman that wanted me to go was just using me at the time to get a ride up there. . . .while this might have been at least partially correct, I at least would have still been in the running for wooing her - and this was, afterall, quite sadly and pathetically, the love of my life, the ONE, if you will. Even if it had been a humiliating disaster, I'm pretty sure it would be a social event I would have never forgotten, which I probably would have something from - about myself and her and us.

A television. I can still buy it, though. Woohoo!

I avoid vain regrets. I have omitted actions which have caused me long term regrets, but I can't think of an unmade purchase that still troubles me.

I really don't know. There's plenty of things I could've done without, though.

These puppets that were at a puppet store. I had a lot of money at the time, for a kid, and my mom took me to the store to spend it. I decided to save it instead, because I thought that was the right thing to do, but it turned out that the lady who owned the shop had opened it up especially for us and my mom was not very pleased about how I dealt with that. I never really stopped feeling guilty about the whole thing.

There was a house I once looked at. The location wasn't practical,  but it has haunted my dreams for years.

Hmmm. I can't really think of anything right now, but I can think of plenty of things I wish I hadn't bought.

I was saw the most unique rings made out of stone and glass set in silver. I took the artist's card and thought, some day I'll contact her and purchase one. By the time I did that she was no longer at her address. I wish I had bought one of these rings on that day at the flea market.

About two years ago I saw *the* coolest Nine Inch Nails shirt ever in the history of mankind, but I didn't have enough money to buy it at the time. I went back some two weeks later and it had gone, and I've not been able to find the same shirt anywhere since. I've never stopped regretting that.About two years ago I saw *the* coolest Nine Inch Nails shirt ever in the history of mankind, but I didn't have enough money to buy it at the time. Let's see...there was the time that I decided not to buy oil for my car, and that turned out to be a bad idea.
