No. But at work, I have worked for years with people in offices in other states that I have never met. We do jobs through the office email.

I met one foreign pen pal -- a girl from Germany. We lost touch after her mother died when we were in college. I corresponded with a girl from Japan for a little while, but that didn't last much more than a year. She sent me some beautiful printed paper that I still have.
Yes - I have friends all over the world who I talk to everyday - from as far away as St. Petersburg, Russia, to as close as a Korean pal of mine in Toronto, Canada.
