Are things too simple?

Generally they are too complicated.

Not right now!

Laura, 38

I think that somethings have become so "simple" that people are losing the ability to think and make decisions on their own. Have you ever noticed that if you do not place an order at McDonalds using their exact terminology, the person at the counter can not even begin to think of what you may be ordering. If they can't match your words with their little keyboard, you get nothing. I say, make it harder.

Never.

Are they?

I believe the general level of public discourse is too simple and paints big world problems into easy to digest emoticons.

Felicia, 37

No. We have access to more information than ever before, and that makes decisions complicated. Machines and programs are designed with more options than ever before. Relationships have never been simple.

Cathie, 53
Novi, MI USA

No, nothing is simple enough. It's just as if everyone enjoys complicating things for others, it's a messed up world.

Merve, 15
Turkey

It is too easy to make things simple and too easy to make things complicated.

Cindy, 41

I shop for groceries on senior citizen discount today. This morning at the supermarket, I saw at least six bewildered senior citizens scanning the shelves for a specific item who were distracted by the abundance.

I don't know. That's kind of a broad range question. Some things are too simple, like being able to veg out in front of a TV and not think...but...well...I don't know. I just don't know how to answer this question.

Tam

No.

Karen, 24
Ames, IA USA

There's no such thing as "too simple."

I wish.
