How do you procrastinate?

When it's time to pay the bills. This means balancing my account, going on line and getting all my ATM purchases and then writing out checks. I hate doing it and always find something else to do. Thanks why I have my house payment and car payments automatically withdrawn so at least they are never late.

With a guilty conscience and a sense of impending doom.

My favorite method of procrastination is bumbling around on the Internet. Other methods include reading, lazing on the hammock (in good weather, and often accompanied by reading) and napping.

Every which way I possibly can. This is one skill I have honed damned near to perfection!

I start organizing and filing things.

I call my sister Janet on the phone -- almost always at work. We both like to procrastinate when we have a deadline looming over our heads.

Laura, 38

I wait until the last minute to do anything! Homework, studying, laundry, other chores/cleaning, etc.

Surfing the internet, mainly. If I didn't have an internet connection I'd be so much more productive. Or bored, more likely.

Aly, 17

I play Freecell, Spider Solitaire, or Minesweeper on my PC.

Most recently, i procrastinate by letting 2000days emails pile up in my inbox until its too late to answer any of them so then I have to delete them :P

Talia, 25
Tallahassee, FL USA

I sit here and answer 2000 days questions instead of doing what I am supposed to do.

I'll have to think about that later! No, really, I procrastinate by escaping into a book, or by doing household chores that suddenly become very important in my mind.
