What is the last thing you gave away?

I can't remember. I guess that makes me a stingy so-and-so.

Would recycling count? Or forwarding particularly funny e mail? Certainly a donation of books to the library book sale counts.

last thing i gave away was some clothes to the salvation army. i was doing the rare activity of cleaning out my room and had all these clothes that i will never where again. its normal for me to give away clothes. i was raised with it.

i pretty much give everything away. the thing that is most given away would be money. i give money like its a cup of water. mainly to family and a few friends. i was always the bank in my house and circles of friends. its because i am cheap. i hate spending but giving it to someone who needs it is completely different. i just dont like being broke.

i dont expect to be paid back especially by family. but if a friend says they are going to pay back they need to pay back. i explain that before money is given so they can clarify what they plan to do. its not fair to give the money and not let your feelings about it be known. if they dont want to pay it back then they shouldnt say that they will. its different if they arent able. the thing that i hate sharing, lending or giving the most is books. i cant stand to part with my books. i will buy another copy before i give, lend my own. its just not right. im weird. but thats already been proven time and again.

I work for a telephone company that has a Web site where we run free classifieds. Someone wrote in and said she was looking for a wireless phone. I just switched cell carriers and had to get new phones, so I called her and told her that I have this phone that she can have. She wanted to pay me for it, but it would have just sat in the drawer by the refrigerator until some future time when I would throw it away - so I just gave it to her today

A beautiful dress that no longer fits me. I've been trying to loose a bit of weight and fit back into it for ages, but I came to terms with the fact that I'm no longer 18, and won't be that skinny again ever! However I have a friend who is that skinny, and she looks fantastic in it :)
