How
much time do you waste at work?None, I go to school
Melodi, 19

Men may work from sun to sun--but woman's
work is never done and woman's time is never wasted.
Jill, 60
Saylorsburg, PA USA
I feel pretty productive on most days and if
anything I don't take enough breaks or stop work. There are times however, especially
around holidays, that the amount of time I spend chatting with folks goes up. But even
then it doesn't feel like a waste.
Felicia, 35

I cannot
currently answer that question, for I am at work :)
Nicole2, 20

40 hours a week.
A-Dog, 19

Hahhaha. Good question. Lots! Im answering
this question from work! But i do get my work done too, so its all balanced out!
Talia, 24
Wilton, CT
USA
Lately not much because its so busy from
christmas shopping.
Dianne, 17

Probably at least 75% of my workday
is spent screwing around on the Internet. I get very
little work done; I could do a lot more if I weren't playing so much.
etoile, 20

Probably about an hour and a half throughout
the course of the day. Part of that is getting all the way from the parking lot to
my damn desk. Another part is following up on dead-end leads given to me by people who
think they know what they're talking about! The rest is purely goof off, looking out the
window, making a cup of tea, or just passing coworkers desks and shooting the breeze. Most
large organizations figure in about an hour per day of total wasted time by any given
employee....so I figure I'm not far off the desired mark.
Fisch, 46
Preston, CT
USA
I waste more time each day than I should and
then I pay for it when something really has to be done. I try to be organized but
sometimes the farther I get the behinder I get. Make sense!!
Marci, 56
Diamond, OH
USA
Not much. I would if I could though. My boss
is a huge ass and watches me like a hawk.
Jaden, 21
Brampton, Ontario CANADA
Very little, unless I am waiting for
a client to make a decision.
Jane, 62
West Linn, OR
USA
That depends on what counts as wasting. If
you mean "how much time do I spend not working"--not much.
Karen, 22
Marshalltown/Ames, IA USA
It depends on the day and my mood. Some days
I don't have a minute to waste. Other days, it seems that all I can manage is email and
phone calls. On a typical day, I probably spend about 30 minutes goofing off in some way.
Usually phone calls with friends.

Since I'm
a student, I'll just pretend you're asking about school work. I check my email, go to the
bathroom, eat a snack, check my email, check the weather, check my email, and go to the
bathroom before I can even turn the TV on to watch a half hour before starting my work.
Eric, 19
Beverly Hills, CA USA
Well, I check out my pro wrestling
web sites at work...however, it does not affect my
production at work. I defy you to find anybody at work who says I am slacking of...go
ahead, try...come one...I'm waiting.
Frodo
age unknown, parts unknown
As much as possible, baby. It's not even
work now.
Derya
Well, lets see.
I get to work at around 9:15 every morning but I check my e-mail, fax machine, and
voice mail first. This will give you an idea. It's currently 11am and I'm still
checking and responding to personal e-mails. I waste alot of time at work as my job is
very slow and especially during the holiday season. So I'd say out of an entire day, I
waste about 8 hours of actual work day.
Stephanie, 25
TX USA
Actually at work...not much. Once I get
home...too much!
Tracy, 24
Ocean City, NJ USA
Usually the first half hour is setting up ,
combing my hair, logging into my email, talking to fellow co-workers and another half hour
to get settled in after lunch. Then there is the 3 o'clock trip to Dunkin Donuts to
partake in the magic elixir of life.
Janet, 44

I don't usually
waste anytime at work if I have work to do if it's slow I probably waste a couple of hours
a day.
Celeste, 30

hardly
any
