Washington, DC USA Probably about an hour and a half throughout the course of the day. Part of that is getting all the way from the parking lot to my damn desk. Another part is following up on dead-end leads given to me by people who think they know what they're talking about! The rest is purely goof off, looking out the window, making a cup of tea, or just passing coworkers desks and shooting the breeze. I get to work at around 9:15 every morning but I check my e-mail, fax machine, and voice mail first. This will give you an idea. It's currently 11am and I'm still checking and responding to personal e-mails. I waste alot of time at work as my job is very slow and especially during the holiday season. So I'd say out of an entire day, I waste about 8 hours of actual work day.
