In
general, are you more of a leader or a follower? In general depends on the situation
and who I am with. I think that applies to most people. There are always people you can be
the leader for and others that are the leader for you.

neither, I do my own thing

In general, I'd say that I am a
follower--but that is a rough, rough generalization. Truthfully, I'm neither. I'm
generally alone in most things I do, and if I follow it's not out of conformity but out of
a desire to get things done without conflict. (This is the same reason I try to do things
alone; that's the best way to make sure things get done without conflict.)

More of a leader...I was blessed (or cursed,
as it seems at times) with a dominant personality.
Angela, 18

I TRY TO BE A LEADER BUT AT TIMES I
WONDER WHAT I REALLY AM DOING.

Both, but probably more often a follower.

A leader, unless I make a conscious effort
to be a follower.
Jane, 62

I lead when I know what I'm doing, and
follow when the problem falls in one of my many fields of monumental ignorance.
Jill, 60

Atleast I act like I should be a
leader.. hehehe
Ry, 23

I usually sit on the fence. I can be content
to follow for a while and then I'll bust out and be a leader. That's in leaisure. At work
I gotta be a leader, I hate being a follower. It's too restrictive
Jaden, 21
Brampton, Ontario CANADA
I try not to be a follower, and I am not in
most aspects of my life... but don't try to "lead" others along my path, I just
want to be left alone to do my own thing basically.

I'm with Frodo; it's not easy
answering your own questions! I suppose I'm more of a leader than a follower. There were
very few times while I was a teen (and even as an adult) when I fell victim to peer
pressure...in fact, I always thought it was kinda weird to want to do something just cuz
everyone else was doing it. This doesn't necessarily qualify me as a leader mind
you....but out of the two options here, I am definitely not a follower.
Fisch, 46

I think,
in general, I'm more of a leader. I don't want to be but my husband is a darn good
follower so when I married him, SOMEONE had to be the leader or our marriage would fall
apart and as I had had the most experience (my mother was a leader) the task fell to me.
At work I can't really be a leader as I have been hired to be a follower. Right, Lerch?
Reba, 50+

I do both. I'd like to think of myself more
as a leader, but I certainly don't hesitate to jump on the bandwagon if I believe in what
someone else has initiated. I am capable, though, of avoiding bandwagons with which I
disagree. For example, I avoided putting an American flag on anything I owned during this
time of intense patriotism. While I'm certainly against terrorism, I'm also certainly
against bombing Afghan civilians.

No doubt about it i am a leader, even when
sometimes i should be following.
Nicole2, 20

I guess I am more of a follower, even though
I am forced into the leadership role more often than I would prefer. I do not like being
in the lead of anything with which I'm not completely familiar and comfortable. I would
rather be part of the herd.
Aaron, 22

No.
Karen, 22

'm a
leader. I like being able to make decisions.
Celeste, 30

I am a leader. Even if I am not the
designated leader, I wind up putting in more than my 2 cents worth.
