you go(ing) to college? What did/will/are you study(ing)?Heh. Went to college
for a while. Had 3 majors. Elementary Ed, Social Science, and Computer Science. Got
burned out. Left.
Dallas, TX USA I plan on going to college--hopefully Oberlin, a liberal arts school in Ohio--but I doubt I'll be accepted. I hope to study literature and, later on, literature education at the high school level. Johanna, 18
OK USA I am going to college next year, for police foundations. I have no idea where i'm going its really quite stressful! Dianne, 17
Ontario CANADA I went to college (Mass College of Liberal Arts) for a whoppin 5 years. I just graduated in May and I couldn't have been more happy. I studied Arts Management and theater. Ry, 23
NYC I am not currently going to college. My wife is currently in her third yearand I plan on going as soon as she is finished. I have not decided in what I am going to major. I've got another year to decide so I'm in no big rush to figure it out. Aaron, 22
VA USA I am going to Central Ohio Technical College currently in Newark, Ohio. They share the same building as the Ohio State University at Newark. I am studying Radiography (not Radiology, radiography is x-ray scans) and Sonography (ultrasound technology) Melodi, 19
Gahanna, OH USA I earned a bachelor's degree in History from Goucher College in Maryland (where, incidentally, Jill was a classmate) and a master's in Journalism from the University of Maryland. Jane, 62
West Linn, OR USA I graduated from Rutgers Univesity in 1987 with a BA in German and Grades 9-12 Teachers Certification. I was 2 classes short of a degree in French. I would like to return to school for a Masters in Social Work. Laura, 36
Lowell, MA USA Finished college with a degree in Broadcasting, and a minor in Camping. Ryan, 28
Riedlingen GERMANY I only attended a community college about 10 years ago. I was in the Liberal Arts program with heavy emphasis on psychology and was only 12 credits away from attaining an Associate's degree before leaving due to ill health. It wasn't easy going back to school after 20 years, and with a toddler at home as well...but I enjoyed every moment of it and truly excelled at it. One of my professors told the class one day that in his opinion, college is wasted on the young. I could almost believe that as most of my "classmates" were there for one reason...because their parents were MAKING them go,or so that they didn't have to work. I'm hoping my daughter will go to college much younger than I did though. Fisch, 46
Preston, CT USA I graduated from Goucher College in 1960 with a major in English Composition. Jill, 60
Saylorsburg, PA USA I graduated high school in May 1997 at the age of 16. In late August 1997 I moved into a dorm at Western Maryland College in Westminster, MD. The first semester went pretty well; I took Education and Deaf Culture classes as preparation for the Deaf Education program. I also took Acting and French classes and ended up with a 3.0 GPA. I turned 17 during the January intersession (which I spent doing temp work in my hometown), and then returned to school for French Literature, ASL, Psychology, English Literature, and Tap Dance classes. Somehow I had managed to develop depression and very quickly stopped going to classes; I missed most of my final exams and failed most of my classes. It was decided that I would take one or two semesters off and return. In Fall 1998 I tried taking some classes at my local community college - I had Women's Literature and Human Sexuality classes - but quickly dropped out and moved in with my girlfriend in northern Virginia. This semester, Fall 2001, I'm taking night classes in ASL at Gallaudet University and plan to get an interpreter's certification sometime in the next couple of years. I'll probably do that for a while, then hopefully go back to school and finish up my Deaf Education plans.
I went to college for creative writing with a minor in psychology. I am too stupid to go to graduate school i got rejected 2 years in a row.
Graduated undergrad (St. Lawrence U.) in '88 with major in Government and minor in African Studies. Also have a masters degree in Media Studies (New School for Social Research).
I graduated from Niagara County Community College with an AA in Liberal Arts. Then I attended SUNY Cortland for a year and a half majoring in Elementary Education. I quit with 6 months to go. Stupid...
I am currently a college student with sophomore status. I'm studying for a Psychology major and a minor in Criminal Justice.
I already went. I have a teaching degree in elementary and special education. I am looking to go back for my graduate degree, but don't know what I want to get it in or where I want to go. I want to do it before I have kids though so I better get on with it!
As soon as I get myself out of construction I'd like to go to Southern Oregon University and study my brain for a while. I think I'll major in beating the system.
Excellent timing on this question...technically, I'm still enrolled in college at Penn-State. But, I decided a couple days ago that I want to drop this semester and next semsester also. I plan on doing a full year next year before transferring to the main campus. I just need a break.
I went to college at Towson State University...and graduated with a degree in Mass Communication. Yeah, I really need that degree to learn how to file grants...
Yes I went to college. I graduated with a degree in Information Systems. I started off as an accounting major in my junior year I realized that I hated accounting but loved computers so I changed my degree.
I'm in college right now! I go to Wesleyan University in Connecticut. I don't have a major yet, but I study Spanish, government(national & international politics), American Sign Language, and computer programming.
I'm going to York University, and I'm working towards an Honours Double Major in English and History whilst minoring in Screenwriting. Basically I'm either in class or reading all of the time, in preparation for a life of unemployment.
I am attending a university and I'm studying psychology.
