When's
the last time you were sick?about 1 year ago.
Savannah
About two years ago I had a nasty bout of
stomach flu.

I think it was early summer 2000. I had a
miserable cold/flu, and still came to work.

The last time I was sick I was recovering
from hand surgery. I have been very fortunate to have good health.

Last winter, around mid-February. Here we
all were ( in the house ) bragging about how we haven't been sick in such a long time ...
then BANG! We all got some sort of virus thing that lasted two days apiece and kept
us all down for the count.

I am getting sick at this very
moment with the beginnings of a flu-like illness.

Last night, actually - my allergies were
driving me insane. I don't remember the last time I had a cold or the flu or something
that would be considered "sick" by most people, but the allergies were giving me
enough hassle that I'd consider it sick. (I also wonder if the questioner has

11/28/00 I had a cold a couple of
weeks ago.

OMG! The last time I was sick was a couple
weeks ago. I rarely get sick, and when I do, I feel fine throughout the process. But this,
yeah well, THIS was the first time I ever had what I feel actually qualifies as a
dis-ease. I was at my fiancé's dorm no less, for the week, and it was torture. I couldn't
even stand to be there. I buried my face in a computer screen, miserable (not that I don't
tend to bury my face there anyway--just not when Joshua's right there--and when I do I'm
usually quite content.) Grrr--it was horrible.

I think it was in January/February
1999. I had the flu. If hangovers count as sick,
then I was mighty sick in July 1999. My nephews still talk about the time Aunt Laura had a
hangover. But it sure was a fun night.

Last spring. Stomach virus.

It has been a long time, which is unusual --
I think it's been probably about 6 months or longer.

I have been sick for the past three weeks on
and off, blah. The same cold has been passed between me, my son, and my boyfriend
repeatedly. I hate winter, all I do is sniffle sniffle sniffle.

I can't even remember. Probably
sometime during the summer...
Jeremy, 13

The last time I was sick was last winter
when I came down with the flu. Considering it has been a year since I've been sick, I
think that's pretty good.
Stephanie, 25
TX USA
September - really bad cold/flu.
Susan, 31
Chicago, IL

About a month ago I had the flu. I am sure
it was brought on by stress more than anything else. I very rarely get sick.
Tina, 31
Medford, MA

Ages ago. About a year since I was honestly
sick. I think I had a sore throat. Only once have I ever been able to convincingly fake an
illness to skip school.

Now.

I haven't
had a cold or anything since last September, knock on wood. But there's a cold going
around my school so I'll probably end up catching that.

Right now. I have been plagued with
kidney stones and have passed two of them in the past
month. Monday, Dec. 4th I go to have the two large ones "blasted". The doctors
do a shock wave treatment and crush the stones into smaller pieces.

took nyquil constantly and slept for a week
Anthony, 25

It seems this entire year has been one big
hurt festival. I have been diagnosed with polyps and fibroids. And now I have passed a
kidney stone. I have 4 more stones in the right kidney and two stones in the left kidney
that are too big to pass. So I have started ESWL. This is where the doctorsblast the
stones with shock waves and the goal is to pulverize them so it is easier to pass. I can
look forward to 4 more rounds of that treatment. But thank God, everything is
curable and things could be a whole lot worst.
Janet, 42
E. Brunswick, NJ USA
I was
really sick about 8 - 9 months ago. Fever and all.
Kevin, 33
Sugar Hill, GA USA
Thursday. I went home early from school, ate
soup and pizza, watched Lord of the Flies, and promptly fell asleep for several hours. I
don't know if I was sick as much as burnt out. I never take off.
