What charities do you support?
The A.L.F., E.L.F.,
Red Cross, Bhopal, R.A.A. I contribute financially to them all now and
again.

I have a tendancy
to support local charities such as the volunteer rescue squad and fire
department. I volunteer with Red Cross and the American Cancer Society.
I give money to my church. I buy Girl Scout cookies.

Most of my charitable
donations are to local organizations: The fire company, the ambulance
corps, the local historical society, a "living" 19th century
farm, a megalith park, the Vo-tech competition team, the restoration of
a station on the underground railway and both local libraries.
Nationally, I support the ACLU, the The Hemlock Society, the National
Conservancy, The Wildlife Fund, and recently the Hopi Indian Scholarship
fund and the Hopi Indian Legal Fund.

I used to give
to World Wildlife Fund, but I felt they were spending all my money on
sending junk mail to people. I've given to National Wildlife Federation;
I buy checks that are on recycled paper and give money to the Arbor Day
Foundation or something. I gave a buck to March for Dimes or something
at the store a while back. I don't know. I don't have a lot of extra money
at this point in my life; it was easier to give money when we didn't have
to pay for food, shelter, clothing, health care, transportation, etc.
Plus I went for a while with no steady job--even now, I just have a temp
job. I am fond of the Make-a-Wish Foundation, also. But I'm not sure if
I've actually given them money or not.

If I had a dime
to spare, I would support the Hole in The Wall Camp in Connecticut. That's
the place Paul Newman started... it's a getaway camp for kids with cancer.
Great cause.
Fisch,

Preston, CT USA
I donate regularly
to Operation WildLife, less often to the Cancer Society and Loving Paws,
a service dog organization.
Judy,

Easton, KS USA
I pay tithing to
our Church, which is our #1 "charity". Also at the moment I
support a wildlife
rehabilitation center called "Second Chance" and I give to "Dogs
for the Deaf".

I am 100% behind
the "PFYF" (Provide For Your Family) charity. Most of my money
goes to bills, food and clothing to make sure my family is ok. If I had
more money, money that wasn't already
accounted for in providing for my own family, I would certainly donate
to charity.
