| Who's
the most famous person you know?I really dont know anyone famous. My Mother is famous in my
own eyes because she's accomlished so much in her lifetime. She single-handedly raised my
sister and I. She's worked at the same company for thirty-some years, rising from mere
factory worker to QC inspector, she's bought her own house, become involved in religion
and politics, has become a wonderful artist, a loving grandmother, a great friend. All
this and also going thru 6 hip replacement surgeries!!! She should be famous! Years ago,
the closest I came to actually meeting a "famous" person was when I met Jose
Ebert (hairstylist to the stars, haha) at a nightclub. He was short, unpleasant and
unattractive. He should take some tips from my Mom!
Tam
Warren Beatty...Im related to him. Christina Hmmm. I know lots of people who are famous in their own way, but as far as someone everyone else might know... I would have to say Dorothy Spencer. Shes listed here: http://us.imdb.com/Name?Spencer,+Dorothy She's one of the neatest people I know, and she has some of the best stories on earth... Nicci, 27 My sister dated Kenny Rogers during high school in Houston. He was a skinny teenager who always won the talent shows. Laney Asha, Adrian and the rest of the Channel [V] Crew. And my mum used to be a radio presenter in Bangladesh many years back. Tiara, 15 That is a cool question. I would be hard pressed to say i "know" any famous people. I went to highschool with Meatloaf's oldest daughter (i think oldest :)) and i attended youth group with Erica Jong's daughter (who is now a novelist in her own right.. younger then i am, too). Talia, 24 No one really. I once spoke to Herve Villachaize (da plane, da plane!) on the phone while I was a telephone operator...and spoke on the phone many times to Liberace while I was a personal secretary for one of his proteges in Las Vegas. Even so, I can't really say I "knew" them. My sign language professor was an actor as well and had a bit part in Children of a Lesser God. Does that count? Fisch, 47 I don't know any famous people. Melodi, 19 Norman Mailer -- my kids went to school with a couple of his sons. Jane, 62 I don't "know" any famous people in the sense that we could sit down together and gossip. I "know" in the sense of "recognize" a number of people--but they wouldn't recognize me. Jill, 61 I don't really 'know" anyone famous. I use to work with "stars" of the academic world, the sort you would hear as experts on NPR or see on CNN giving political commentary. Also, when I worked for an NPO supporting independent filmmakers I met some "reknowned" indie folks including film directors Kevin Smith (Clerks) and Brad Anderson (Next Stop Wonderland). I had a phone conversation with Ben Affleck (before he and Matt Damon made it big) to see if they would come and talk about their adventures in Hollywood tyring to get "Good Will Hunting" made. At the time I didn't really know who they were and they were pretty much unknowns. Felicia, 36 I've exchanged email with Daniel Pinkwater and Errol Uys, and I've met a few famous musicians. As far as actually knowing someone, though, I'd have to go with my friend Lizzie. She was Miss Teen Idaho and Miss Idaho USA, and she published a book when she was in her early teens. You can see a link to it at: http://www.karen.hart.net/buy.html Lizzie also interned at the Boston Globe and worked for a paper in Texas, and she was in Teen Magazine's Great American Model Search or whatever they call it, and her credentials go on and on. Karen, 22 I've met many famous people but I don't personally know and call a friend any famous people. Doug2, 29 Millard Fuller, founder and president of Habitat for Humanity. Laura, 37 I went to high school with Brenda Vaccarro. Does anyone know who she is? Judy, 62 What do you mean by "know"? A girl I went all through school with is in movies...Ali Larter. Here's how you know her....ever seen Varsity Blues? She's the girl in the whip cream bikini. That's as close to fame as I get. Tracy, 24 Fred Durst. Nicole2, 20 Bill and I know a wildlife artist by the name of Jeremy Pearse, who charges thousands of dollars for his beautiful paintings of wildlife around the world. Reba, 50+ How well do I have to know them? I met Bruce MacDonald a while back and he was really cool. I've had a great conversation with Kevin Smith, and hugged Alan Alda. I went to high school with Katia Corriveau (a model/actress) and Paulo Costanzo (actor) and I know both of them faily well. Keri-Jade, 21 I know a bunch of almost famous, or famous in their specific line of work type of people. My parents have property next to the guy who wrote "Material Girl." I have friends in the bands Vigilantes of Love and The Normals. A guy I knew in college was once voted the number one Rickey Martin Impersonator. And the religious part of me says to answer that I know Jesus Christ. The question could be asked what famous people know you? Ryan, 28 Hmm... well, I don't really know anyone famous personally. My friend Drew is sort of infamous around town because of the success of his band on a local level. I've met, photographed, and got autographs of band members of Switchfoot, Luna Halo, and Brownie Mary. I've met various Pittsburgh sports and newsbroadcasting figures. I met Greg Lee, the host of "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego," and the lead singer of Rockapella sang to me. I was feet away from Who's Line's Colin Mochire, but about five minutes too late to get to actually meet him. Hikaru, 19PA USA I go to school with some famous people like Julia Stiles and Joseph "I'm a big dummy" Gordan-Levitt, but my associations with them go no further than friends of friends and smiles in the hallway. My good friend is a model, though, and she can be found in Cosmo and Guess ads sometimes. Cancer, 20 NYC, NY USA I don't know anyone famous. But I did enjoy the movie Almost Famous. Janet, 44 E.
