What
is the best way to end the battle for Jerusalem?Say the people who live there own
it in a legal sense, but allow visitors from everywhere. Not that that's an easy thing to
bring about.

There's a battle for Jerusalem now?

Cover it with gravel.

Jesus said we should "turn the other
cheek" so I say to give Jerusalem to the Jews! (Seriously, I have no idea.)

I'm not quite sure what you mean by
battle for Jerusalem. Do you mean the conflict between
the Jews and Palestinians? I haven't really thought about that enough to know the best way
to end it. I'm sure whatever I could come up with would already have been tried.

I personally think it belongs to the
Palestinians, but I can see both sides and don't know what to do.

Rewrite the last 2000 years of Jerusalem
history.

Bomb the place off the map. Then there's
nothing to fight over, is there?

The Palestinians and Jews need to put down
the weapons and start listening and talking.

What is the best way to end the battle for
Jerusalem? I don't think there ever will be in this present age, a way to end the battles
there. I believe what the Bible says about it being Gods chosen land for His people.
Because the Arabs want it as well, there will be fighting in some form until Jesus comes
back. That doesn't mean the US should not try to negoaite peace, but it will never fully
come until the end of time as we know it now.

This is out of my field of
expertise. I was rather taken with the idea of making
God the chief authority in the city and dividing the administrative duties among Jewish,
Islamic and Christian clergy.

Step over one's own shadow - collectively.
Refuse to have the loudest and extremest set the agenda - on both sides. Ultimately
- the awareness that - this city can not be exclusively one people's place.

Ummm...lay waste to the city? Initiate the
apocalypse? Me thinks this battle is neverending.

Get Jesus back, he'll sort em' out.

I honestly don't know enough about the
situation to make an answer. I haven't followed the situation there in the news for quite
a while. Will there ever be an end to the battle for Jerusalem?
