Highlands Ranch, CO USA I am hosting a party for the entire weekend - from Friday evening through late afternoon/early evening Monday. We're expecting at least 20 people, most of whom will be staying overnight (most of them on the floor wherever there's space). My girlfriend has been out of town for the past three weeks (and for months before that she's only been home on weekends), so I've been having to get the house ready entirely by myself. It's been really difficult - I have rather limited domestic skills, I'm afraid - so I'm looking forward to the party so I can relax. Even if there are things left undone when people start to arrive tonight, I'll be happier when my friends are around - I've been completely alone for three weeks (I need a hug!). Wilkes-Barre, PA USA Since this weekend is raining, my plans is to not have a cow. Actually, I plan on doing a lot of writing/editing. I plan on taking Dilly Willy for his final exame today. I plan on conserving my energy, getting sleep, because I start class on Tuesday. For the first Summer Session, I am taking a Writing for Business/Technology course from 6- 9:45 2Xs a week. That should keep me pretty busy...along with reading 4 books at a time, and my usual writing. The second summer session I am taking a computer class, you know, to make myself more marketable...so I want to conserve energy for that. Ocean City, NJ USA That is a funny question because it is the same for me as any other weekend. I have to work! I work a lot of hours and that is ok because my job will not last forever. As much as I would like to have the weekend off to spend with my family (and computer) I will work because I am trying hard to pay off some extra bills we have so that when the time comes for my job to end, I hope to not have those bills. I do homecare and it is an easy job, so I handle the long hours very well. Becki, 49
Marengo, OR USA Saturday will be a busy day. We have karate in the morning - my husband teaches the class and I go to work out while the baby crawls around int heback room. Then we have errands and shopping to do. Hopefully in there I can get to the library and we can get the house cleaned. Sunday we hope to get outside, get some hiking in and enjoy the day. Monday is a holiday, but I have some prep work I need to do for therapy sessions with the kids I work with - I hope to do some of that in the morning and get the laundry done. TX USA i didn't do too much for memorial day weekend, family wise. we were supposed to go down to cape cod on sunday but it rained so we didnt go. it was just like a regular weekend...i learned friday night that boys lie, but it was all better by saturday night when i hung out with two of my friends down at the restaurant one of them works at. after that we hung around our town. sunday another friend came over and we played oregon trail on the computer. lol! on monday i went shopping with my mom. and today i took my day off voucher that my school gave me, and right now i'm just waiting for my friend to wake up so i can chill with her!
