What is your secret dream (if you have one)?

My secret dream is to be a successful artist, be it in music, writing,  or painting. I would love to have a piece of my art on the wall at the Art Institute, or to play a show at a 5000 seat venue. I don't wanna be a rockstar or anything like that, just to be successful and respected as an artist.

I'm sorry that would defeat the point of it being a secret.

To live in Australia and be my my honey. I haven't seen him in almost a year. I miss you Aleks.

Jennifer, 19

To be a professional hockey player...which is kinda funny cosidering I've never even been ice skating.

Kevin M., 19

To be a singer songwriter and travel round the country playing coffeehouses and what not

I have no secret dreams--just some perennial resolutions.

My dreams aren't really secrets. . .besides, if they were, would I tell all of you? : )

Karen, 21

Do you know the meaning of the word "secret"?

Heh. I have one, but I don't want to say for personal privacy reasons. (Besides, if I told you, it wouldn't be a secret anymore!)

To be with my dream lover, for as long as we want, without having to worry about how to arrange it or what to call it...

no-itsme, 29

It's too secret to tell.

My wife's boss had his employees write down all their dreams (apparently writing down all your dreams is the first step to them coming true) at a seminar I was at as well. We came up with about 150. A couple of mine:

To fly- aided or unaided, it doesn't matter to me. To finally put onto paper the story I've been writing and rewriting in my head for the last ten years. To eat my height in foot long hot dogs. To revisit every place I've ever lived (Dad was army, so there's quite a few places).

I would love to be in a movie about the 50's. I don't know why, I just think it would be interesting to show teenagers who weren't totally wholesome and clueless and to be one of them.

My secret dream I guess I would have to say is that I would like to be a well known doctor or even a great nurse so that I could help others and feel like I did something that was helpful to the world today. I guess a part of that dream is also that I might have beeb in the ministry so that I could consel others, I can talk to people today about somethings and hope that I leave an impression on them especially the young people they have so many things coming at them and don't know which way to go and usually go th wrong way and have to pay for it later. Like I told my granddaughter" Don't do something today that you will regret tomorrow."I feel for the young people today and I guess above all I would just like to help tham be it through medicine ,nurturing or conseling them.

My secret dream is rather simple: a girlfriend :-)

No, not really... sometmes I think it's becoming a successful lawyer, or a judge, or whatever, but my secret dream really is that one day I want to found my own little state on an island, and then make everything right there :-)

The one dream that keeps me sane...not too mention clean and my dream to become a writer. That would totally reek of awesomeness. It used to be a secret, however, once my brother demanded to know what I was writing, and I could not lie to my brother, so I came clean, and then word got around to everybody else in my family.

In terms of kinds of writing, science fiction/fantasy is my bag...I have written a few novels (unpublished), that aren;t ready for publication...although that would reek of awesomeness (getting published)....of course, I don't write SF exclusively (i.e., the next thing in the hopper is a novel set in the world of pro wrestling (which is my bag)...
