What is your
favorite sport and why?I like to swim. I like to watch hockey and baseball and
sometimes even play baseball if I'm feeling really extroverted. Soccer's pretty cool too.
And stuff.

eXtreme sports. I think the idea of
people flying through the air on skateboards or
rollerblades is amazing.

I haven't really been a sports fan since the
Celtics were good.
Alias Irrelevante
I love watching baseball and playing golf.
Golf is great exercise--especially if you walk the course. However, there's something
about watching a baseball game on TV or even better in the stadium!

NRL, Rugby League, the greatest game of
all...that is until Rupert Murdoch came along

I enjoy walking when I can, but my
favorite sport is people watching.

My favorate sport is football, as
long as they leave the violence on the field. I just
have watched it for as long as I can remember, that is why it is my favorite sport.
Ernest, 28

Baseball, because it reminds me of
summertime and my fiancee. And I also love to watch it.

I don't really have a favorite sport.
Although, if I had to choose, Hockey is pretty fun to watch. I also used to keep score for
a softball team (local league) and that was a lot of fun too.

Sports make you stupid, ladies and
gentlemen. Not the playing of, the watching and discussing. You realize that those of you who care are wasting your time watching other
people enjoy their's, right? Sports are like porn, except porn actors don't have to wear
the same clothes every time they get laid.

"SPORT" = Hockey. Can't really say
why. "sport" = pro wrestling, gymnastics, swimming

Swimming. Not only is it good exercise for
the whole body, but when I lap swim, after a third of a mile or so, the rhythmic motion
and breathing put me into a meditative state that is also good for my spirit.

I like to play video games. The hell with
throwing a damn ball around.

Horse Racing--It's quick and
exciting. If you can't see it in person, your not stuck
in front of the TV for three or four hours.

Well, baseball is out because I dont' like
to watch guys sit around and re-adjust themselves. I guess that it would have to be
swimming though because most of my friends are swimmers!

My favorite sport as a spectator: Cubs
games! I love sitting in the bleacher seats with my girlfriends, drinking a few beers and
watching Sammy Sosa playing right in front of us! My favorite sport to play: Since I have
no coordination, I'm not into contact sports. My favorite exercise activity is jogging
along Lake Michigan in the early morning when the sun is rising. It is so peaceful and
gorgeous! Although I don't do it too often, I like to get a bunch of people together and
go bowling. I'm a good bowler so I like to show off!

I've never been fond of sports, but if I had
to pick one, I'd pick horse racing. I love betting and I adore horses. ;-)

To spectate: baseball and hockey (live not on TV)
To participate: volleyball, swimming, and downhill skiing

guess it's un-american and uncool to
say I don't like sports.... I don't like sports. I'm
glad all the sports are at the end of the news so I can change the channel. Soon as the TV
and the internet combine, we'll be able to choose the type of news and shows we personally
get & I'll get rid of the sports at the end and replace it with a music or art related
segment. Have you been to: http://www.ananova.com/video/hi_frames.htm
Still sports replaces war and discharges our
competitive sin so I

My favorite sport to play is croquet, but
the reason that I like it so much is because it makes me feel kind of european, like when
I play boules aka bocce. But my favorite sport to watch is football (soccer). I like the
whole angry mob potential that all football matches have. Good stuff, right up there with
rugby, hockey, and Australian rules football.

FOOTBALL!!
I just love to watch...and sometimes play!!
Tracy, 24
Ocean City, NJ
I prefer to play tennis, but haven't really
played in years, mostly because I don't have someone to play with. I like it because I'm
essentially competing against myself. I did team sports for a short time in school, but
didn't do well because I couldn't get into that whole team mentality.
However, I do really enjoy going to ice
hockey games.
Laura, 35

football,
cuz i was raised watching college games

None. I can't say I get any thrill from
sports. Although, I do enjoy watching ice skating.

hockey,
definitely. . .it's brutal and beautiful - it's simple and yet strategies and approaches
can be discussed intelligently by knowledgeable people for hours. .
