How
much free time do you have?I'm not supposed to have a lot of free time, but I make some
anyways. I believe that all work and no play makes Amy a dull girl. I go stir crazy if I'm
in my apartment working all day. I have to get out, even if it's just to go to a
coffeehouse and read.

Not enough
Ernest, 28
Washington, DC
I'm currently working 60+ hours a week,
trying to keep a zine going, hosting and attending open stage events and hosting a monthly
patv show. I'm busy enough but still find a little time every now and then to be bored.
Alias Irrelevante
Never as much as I want and the time I do
have is squandered away on meaningless activities.

I never say I have any free time,
but I imagine if I managed my time better I would have a lot more!!!

I wish,

I think I have a lot more free time than
people I know... I'm not involved in any extra-cirricular activities and I ususally don't
have a lot of stuff to do for school.
Jeremy, 13
Highlands Ranch, CO
As of today, I temporarily have 0
commitments, my girlfriend not withstanding. In fact, I have declared today 'lazy-day'. I
know I should look for some part-time employment until school kicks back in, but I have
enoough money saved to afford a few weeks of freedom.
Anthony, 25
Baton Rouge, LA
used to be too much, but now it's not nearly
enough
Angela, 16

I'd have none if I didn't make time
to procrastonate every once and a while.
Jaden, 21

All of my time is free. I freely choose to
spend that time doing a varietyof things: praying, working, exercising, making love,
reading, writing letters, talking on the phone, sleeping, eating, housework, gardening,
enjoying time with family and friends, worshipping my God, etc.
Laura, 35
Lowell, MA
Let's see, I am currently taking 20
credits in college, not to mention that I am a newlywed and I have a volunteer job. Does
sleep count as spare time? I guess I would have to say that on most days that I have about
3 hours of spare time. That doesn't include finals weeks
however. During them, maybe 15 minutes of spare time.
Kate, 19
Bellingham, WA
Because of my husband's illness, I'm never
really off duty
Jill, 59
Saylorsburg, PA
Almost none.
Rachel L
Toronto, Ontario CANADA
Not enough! I make some in the morning, by
getting up very early, making tea, and sitting in my window alcove to read before I go out
to face the day.
Jane, 60
West Linn, OR
Sometimes
I wished we didn't have to sleep because I have so much I want to do. It's God's way of
giving us ALL a manditory time out, and I am actually greatful for it. My free time is
always planned
Jami, 27
Lowel, MA
A lot more now that I got myself nice and
fired.

At this point in my life, not much. During
the work week, I get off work at 5, then go to our company gym for an hour...so I don't
get home until around 6:30, which leaves me about 4 hours until I have to go to bed. But
I'm usually so tired, I don't feel like doing much when I get home. Weekends
are a little better, I'm more free to do what I want.
Nicole
Elk Grove, CA
Well I am
lucky because I work 21 hours per week and then the rest of my time is free-time.
Nikki, 27
Kirkham ENGLAND
Quite a
bit, I work a forty or fifty hour week most weeks. There is always house work, but I don't
really consider that work unless its yard work

Karen, 20

I
freelance so sometimes there is some down time. but by then I'm sooo tired that all I do
is nothing and then by the time I get around to wanting to do a quilting/art project, it's
back to work.
Janet, 42
E. Brunswick, NJ
absolutely,
positively, not nearly enough. . . ..maybe a couple hours a day on average. . . I,
personally, definitely need more and will be working on that as soon as I have the time to
figure out how to do it. . . .
