What is the best
thing about your mother? She's kind and understanding, and always willing to listen
to whatever Ihave to say.

Everything! My mommy is the Best!
Jami, 27

she trusts me
Angela, 16
Bella Vista, AK
That no matter what I do, my mom is always
there to help me through it.
Kerri
Pittsburgh, PA
That she gave me room to grow, but
not too much to let me fall
Felicia, 34
Somerville, MA
The best thing about my mother was
her unconditional love, her ability to find humor in
almost everything, and the way should could make roast chicken and roast potatoes.
Laura, 35
Lowell, MA
The surgically implanted soda
dispenser.
Anthony, 25
Baton Rouge, LA
Everyone loves her. I have yet to meet three
people who dislike my mom. She is a pure soul. Granted, it's hard to live with a paragon
for a mother, but I deal ;)
Amy, 23
Baton Rouge, LA
She's herself.
Karen, 20
Marshelltown/Ames, IA
She lives in a different town than
I.
Nikki, 27
Kirkham ENGLAND
My mother had the courage of her
convictions, a wicked sense of humor and a highly honed sense of curiosity as well as an
ability for self-criticism. I miss her.
Jill, 59
Saylorsburg, PA
She's very easy going about things,
which makes up for most of her other flaws.
Aurora, 17
Montreal, Quebec CANADA
That she has proved herself cool by treating
me like an adult as I grew older. She showed me that she can let me make my own decisions,
but hasn't given up on motherly advice. She's the coolest!!!!!
Firelady, 22
Dallas, TX
The best thing about my mother was her
unconditional love for her family, and her willingness to extend "family" to
include any lonely people she came across.
Jane, 60
West Linn, OR
My mother cares about me and what I
do. She appreciates me for who I am and most of all, she understands me better than anyone
else.
Gavin
The best thing
about my mother is the way that she loves me and my sister no matter what we do. She
supports us in our decisions and never tells us what to do. The choices we make, we have
to live with.
Kate, 19
Bellingham, WA
I love my mom's smile. Its so sweet. It
always makes me feel better, more than any comfort food ever could. Also, its pretty funny
to hear her try to cuss. She is just too sweet. She has that real kindergarten teacher air
about her (probably because she was). I worked at the same company with her for a while
and everybody loves my mom. It kinda made me proud to hear all that praise about her all
the time.
Kathy, 26
Garden City, MI
My mother signs all her letters MOM, and she
draws a smiley face in the letter 'O'
Rachel L
Toronto, Ontario CANADA
She's just plain loving and
understanding!!!!
Tracy, 24
Ocean City, NJ
I didn't think much of her when I was
growing up but I have to give her credit. She didn't really join the workforce until she
was in her late 40's but since then she's done extremely well.
Alias Irrelevante
She's the most
selfless person I know, always doing things for other people. And she's thoughtful.
Nicole
Elk Grove, CA
There are many great things about my mom,
but off the top of my head; one great thing is that she can drive. Because currently,
nobody else in my household can. Except for my dad, but he hasn't driven in years, so we
don't let him drive. Just to be safe =).
Ray, 17
Toronto CANADA
Her very
odd, dry sense of humor. The way she dances in the living room to old Tom Jones
records...it's hilarious! Although it's embarrassing, I love how she doesn't understand
sarcasm...she takes every comment literally and comes up with the funniest answers!
Susan, 31
Chicago, IL
Instilling
in me that nobody's going to do it for you and you have to live your own life. Hopefully
with a great sense of humor about it.
Janet, 42
E. Brunswick, NJ
Her
strength in dealing with whatever practical adversity occured in her life. . .
