I share a house with Laddie, a shepherd/collie cross, and Iffy, a pit bull. Laddie will undoubtedly be reincarnated as a white male somewhere in an affluent first world country. He has suffered for years with grace and fortitude. Iffy will be reborn as a housefly trying to survive in arid conditions--or possibly even further down the evolutionary scale.  I also have house spiders that have lived with me for thirteen generations and a growing population of angleworms in the yard and garden that have been in my family for more than 50 years and six moves.

Actually I cohabit with a few pets... I myself own one cat and a wolf-hybrid dog. One of my roommates has a dog and the other one has a cat, a turtle, and a water dragon and is planning on getting himself a dog. We love our pets...they are great companions and always a joy to have around.

I am not sure if I have a pet or if she has me! She is a mutt with mainly black lab in her and probably spaniel of some sort. I got her as a surprise Christmas present from my boyfriend. It was really more of a shock than a surprise! He snuck her into my house at about 2:30 in the morning on Christmas morning. I was woken out of a deep sleep by puppy kisses and have been in love ever since!!   He got her from the humane society. She is extremely protective and will only sleep on the bed if I raise the blinds so she can see out the window and protect the perimeter!! She is the best! Better than getting an engagement ring!! 8) I included a picture of her. It was taken on Christmas day.
